Daun Penh Agrico has stepped up the Cavendish banana harvest at its plantation in Ratanakiri Province, north-eastern Cambodia. The farm covers nearly 3,800 hectares and is reaching an average yield of 29.7 tonnes per hectare.
Bananas are harvested, washed, graded and packed at the on-site packing house, then moved into cold storage to keep the fruit fresh on its way to export markets such as China and Japan.
